LEAN; Scientific Thinking

There are many ways to think, and thinking has been around as long as us humans have been around. But, has our thinking improved? I’m seeing hope in watching teams who are dedicated to LEAN and improved thinking. These teams are using KATA as a method to learn to think scientifically, differently, unemotionally. KATA is how to learn scientific thinking.

Ways To Think

There are many ways to think. The range spans quiet reflection to the imagination and even letting our minds wander. But, if thinking is what humans are able to do, and if we see ourselves as enlightened why is there such acrimony on youtube? It appears to me that we are thinking less. The lack of conversation, and so much yelling, it appears, at least to me, emotions dominate our thinking.

Virtue Exhibited by the Youth

There was a lot of virtue exhibited by the young men in the video. By contrast, the Fake News is Destroying America with their telling of a fabricated story. This is the opposite of virtue, call it pure evil. Okay, is that too strong? But, if what they’re telling is a lie and they want to draw you in and make it attractive so you read it and believe it, and, they want you to find the emotion of hate to hate those students, isn’t that evil?

God’s Work

What does God promise you?

The Church beautifully offers daily readings, if you read the daily readings, over 3 years you read the entire Bible. In today’s readings, Saul’s faithfulness is rewarded not with profit, prosperous success, health, wealth, and security; no, today we read about the end of his life.
